The rules, in plain English.

1. About ScopeNod

ScopeNod is operated by Walkerbiz Ltd, company number 15421006. It helps service businesses record starting work, propose job changes, obtain a customer response and create a completion record.

2. What ScopeNod is not

ScopeNod is an evidence and communication tool. It is not a solicitor, escrow service, payment guarantee, invoice, construction contract or guarantee that a record will decide a dispute. Users must continue to use suitable quotes, contracts, invoices, insurance and professional advice.

3. Business accounts

• The account holder must be at least 18 and authorised to act for the business shown in the account.
• Account details must be accurate and sign-in access must not be shared insecurely.
• The account owner is responsible for team members, the information they enter and the links they distribute.
• A private customer link should be sent only to the intended customer or another authorised person.

4. Job information

The service business remains responsible for the accuracy of job scopes, photographs, prices, descriptions and time estimates. It must have a lawful reason to enter customer information and upload photographs. Content must not be unlawful, misleading, abusive, infringing or unrelated to genuine work.

5. Customer responses

ScopeNod records the option selected on the page and supporting security information. The service business decides whether that response is sufficient for its own contract and should resolve ambiguity before starting disputed work. Approval links can expire and may need to be reissued.

6. Plans and payment

The Free plan includes the first three jobs created by the account in total, including jobs later completed or closed. Solo and Pro allowances count jobs created during each calendar month; completing a job does not restore a slot. Business has no job limit. AI help and customer-message wording are included with Pro and Business. The first paid month of a business’s first subscription is 50% off: £2.50 on Solo, £7.50 on Pro or £15 on Business. From month two, the subscription renews automatically at £5/month on Solo, £15/month on Pro or £30/month on Business until cancelled. The introductory discount applies once to the base plan and excludes extra team seats. Existing subscriptions continue on their agreed price until changed through Stripe billing. Business includes ten users; additional users cost £5 per person per month and must be added to the subscription before access is granted. Paid plans may be cancelled through the Stripe billing portal. Prices shown on the website are currently the total price because Walkerbiz Ltd is not VAT registered. If the tax position changes, the pricing display and future charges may be updated with appropriate notice.

Three private founder invitations may receive Pro free for the first month, followed by £5/month while the same founder subscription remains active. This offer is restricted to the invited email address, requires a payment method, cannot be transferred, and cannot be reclaimed after cancellation. The exact renewal price and date are shown in Stripe Checkout before subscription.

7. AI-assisted drafts

Customer messages may be drafted using generative AI or a rules-based template. They are suggestions only. The service business must review and, where needed, edit a message before sharing it with a customer.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep ScopeNod reliable but cannot promise uninterrupted access. Features may change as the beta service improves. We will not deliberately remove a paid plan’s central benefit without providing reasonable notice or an appropriate remedy.

9. Suspension and termination

We may restrict an account that creates security risk, breaks these terms, infringes another person’s rights, abuses storage or remains unpaid. Account owners may export data and delete the account from Settings, subject to any information that must be retained by law.

10. Responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, Walkerbiz Ltd is not responsible for the quality of services or repair work, a customer’s payment, indirect business losses or decisions made using inaccurate information entered by a user. Any liability connected with the service will be limited as far as the law permits.

11. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply.
